In order to survive in any business, it’s either you adapt or you innovate. This company that I’m going to feature today is basically the game changer. Who would have thought that you could combine the process of creating coffee to milk tea?
Presotea did just that.
Originally from Taiwan, the home of original milktea, Presotea introduced to the world the process of brewing tea using a special espresso machine inspired by the western technology. Leaving the old way of creating a milk tea, the company did the unthinkable: Mixing the process of brewing an espresso to creating a milk tea.
Espresso + Tea = Preso Tea
The thought of bringing a milk tea franchise to the Philippines could be so risky, especially that we have a lot of Milk Tea brands available here.
But the company behind Presotea Philippines, The Gastrominds Inc. begs to differ, ” This was the initial thinking of these group of people but after visiting the Presotea plant in Taiwan and tasting their drinks….we were amazed on how different their tea tastes, high quality, distict flavor, fresh and brewed to order. Hence we decided to bring the concept to the Philippines” acccording to company website.
In this age of information, people would want to get everything in an instant. But the team behind Preso Tea strongly believes that tea as a primary beverage should always be fresh. Thus they introduce, what I think could personally be the next big trend in Milk Tea industry, “The Brew-to-order”,
I had the privilege to interview Dra. Claudine Roura, the owner of the master franchise of Preso Tea in the Philippines which has over 400 stores worldwide. She told me that the best thing about their milk tea shop is that they’ll be the first to introduce this kind of concept here in our country.
“As you could notice in our shop, we don’t have big jars, everything comes in a tea bag. We brew it that’s why it is so fresh,” says Dra. Claudine, also the medical director of Contours Advanced Face and Body Sculpting Institute.
Overall, as a person who loves coffee so much, I think Presotea delivers the quality and features that I could only have whenever I drink coffee. Preso Tea could definitely be a substitute to coffee. The taste of their drinks are so refreshing and is something that I haven’t tasted, ever.
And for my next post, I’ll be sharing what I learned from Dra. Claudine Roura. Her goals, time management skills, healthy lifestyle and a lot more.
